I grew up in the vibrant neighborhood of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, with a single mother who instilled in me the values of bravery and resourcefulness. My upbringing was anything but conventional, but it was the perfect backdrop for nurturing my passions. Music and style are in my DNA, thanks to my incredible grandparents—my grandfather, a doo-wop singer during the Studio 54 era, and my grandmother, a renowned beautician and community pillar.

Their influence continues to inspire and shape my work. From designing my own bold leather outfit for my 6th-grade prom to exploring the limitless realms of fashion and creativity today, I’ve always embraced thinking outside the box.
